Paul Roper is a veteran journalist having worked on various broadcasts as an anchor, reporter, play-by-play announcer and studio host.

Paul is the football play-by-play announcer for the  Wildcats on the Davidson Sports Network from Learfield and studio host for South Carolina men's basketball.

He has also done play-by-play on the national stage, covering the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament; SEC Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball Tournaments; the ACC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments; the CAA Swimming & Diving, Women's Basketball, Softball, and Baseball Championships; and the ECHL All-Star Game.
